Most of the AMANA's residential units are manufactured in Houston, TX; however, they do have a few lines in Fayetteville, TN.Commercial Equipment.Goodman offers a 5 year warranty on parts, 5 year warranty on compressors, and 20 year warranty on the heat exchanger.  No other commercial manufacture can match the warranty on parts and heat exchangers.  With Goodman's warranty on commercial equipment, why would you install anything else?  Here at Head Heating and Air Conditioning, we register your equipment for you, so you don't have to do the work, because you have your own business to run.

Goodman's commercial units are manufactured in Fayetteville, TN.Other reasons to choose AMANA/Goodman equipment.In August, 2012 we were offered a chance to tour the AMANA/Goodman commercial plant in Fayetteville, TN.  In December, 2012 we toured the AMANA/Goodman residential plant in Houston, TX.  We were greatly impressed for several reasons.  First of all, they are big employers of their towns and their employees are happy to work there.  Their testing labs are out of this world, to ensure they provide the best possible product to their customers.  Their equipment goes through the toughest tests imaginable from below freezing conditions, to drop tests, to intense hot conditions, to extreme wind conditions.  All of these tests ensure their products are up for the challenge of performing regardless of their destination.  

Their system of ensuring the correct parts are installed on each piece of equipment, leaves little, if any room for mistakes.  They have a bar code system that verifies each part before it's installed in the product that is on the manufacturing line.Their patented Wrinkle Bend Technology and Smart Coil Technology greatly improves the performance of their coils.Most manufactures of all kinds import their wire and plastics from Mexico or China.  That is not the case with AMANA and Goodman.  They make their own wires and plastics in their plant.  We were able to see how they make and dye their own wires and how their plastic components are made from plastic pellets.AMANA PTAC units, like you would find in a hotel room, are the only PTAC units manufactured in the U.S.A.  All other manufactures import their complete PTAC units from other countries.
